Merit is only nine years old, but she’s a seasoned veteran, having booked many national commercials including Target, Kmart, Leapfrog, Yoplait and more. Merit loves the creative process and truly enjoys her time on set. You’ll find her carrying a video camera with her most of the time, because making movies is her passion. Merit has most recently appeared in the short film "Monster Slayer" Directed by Caskey Ebeling for the USA network and RSA Films, she has also recently worked on a new web series "Zimm The Series" as young Zimm. Merit also has a role in the Indie feature “Grooming Giselle” due out 2012 and a short film called “Specifically” directed by George Newbern.
She is a funny, energetic and smart girl who is very passionate about saving the earth. Merit and her sister Marlowe are both green advocates and have created “The Plastic Patrol” @ www.theplasticpatrol.org funded with their own money from acting. This project is all about kids teaching kids how they can help save the oceans. Merit and The Plastic Patrol are currently in pre-production on a series of webisodes.
